PVC STRIPS FOR FINISH ADHESION TEST ISO 11644 IUF 470

ITEM 46C

PVC plates 70 x 20 x 3mm to test the adhesion of the finish to leather or the adhesion between two adjacent layers of the finish according to the UNI EN ISO 11644 and IUF 470 standards.
The method requires the user to glue part of the finished side of a 10mm leather sample to the PVC strip using standard PU adhesive or similar.
The detachment is obtained by exerting a suitable traction, with an angle of approximately 90°, from each of the free ends of the specimen.
At the free end of the strip, a load is applied in order to produce, along a certain stretch, the detachment from the leather of the finishing film, which remains attached to the sample holder together with the layer of adhesive.
The load required to produce the detachment gives the measure of the adhesiveness of the covering layer.
The resistance to detachment is expressed in N (newtons) and the test is usually carried out on dry specimens.
The instrument with which the resistance to detachment is measured is the dynamometer with a special clamp (clamping for adhesion tests) or with the apparatus for carrying out the adhesion test.
The PVC plates are sold in packs of 500 or 1000 pieces.
