Powder for the preparation of pH 5.5 acid or pH 8.0 basic (alkaline) solution for perspiration color fastness tests on leather, fabric and other materials according to BS EN ISO 105 E04, UNI EN ISO 11640, IULTCS/IUF 450, UNI EN ISO 11641, IULTCS/IUF 426.

  • POWDER A pre-mixed for tests of color fastness to acid sweat pH 5.5;
  • POWDER B pre-mixed for color fastness tests to basic/alkaline sweat pH 8.0.

L-histidine monohydrochloride monohydrate, Sodium chloride, Sodium of Hydroxide, Sodium Phosphate Monosodium Dihydrate (Reagent for Acid Solution) and Disodium Phosphate Dihydrate (Reagent for Alkaline Solution).

Used for tests to be carried out with a Perspirometer or Veslic rub fastness tester.
